The kiln drying process further reduces moisture content of the logs to 15% or less. It is a clean burn preventing a build-up of soot in your chimney and helps maintain a clean stove glass.
The standard length of logs is approximately 8¼” long with tolerance on length +/- 10%.
The width of our logs will vary from 2″ – 7″ with a tolerance of +/- 10%

Our quality, locally sourced wood is predominantly ash, sycamore, beech and silver birch – all the timber is seasoned for at least 12 months before being processed into the log store. Before delivery all logs are passed through a rotary screen ensuring each delivery is as dust free as possible. Please note some loose bark & smaller pieces may be present and unavoidable – this can be up to 5% content.
This sourcing of local timber (all from within Yorkshire), and processing on site, means Corners Warmers can pride themselves on supplying quality logs whilst keeping the carbon footprint to a minimum. In turn, this supports the reason customers choose to heat their homes with a sustainable product.
