We are accredited suppliers through the Woodsure Ready to Burn scheme which guarantees our kiln dried firewood as ‘ready to use’ with a moisture content of 20% or less. This reduces the level of emissions in the air we breathe and is better for your appliance and chimney reducing maintenance and fuel costs. It meets the requirements for Local Authority Smoke Control Areas when using a DEFRA approved wood burning stove and means it is also easy to comply with the Air Quality (Domestic Solid Fuels Standards) (England) Regulations 2020.

The kiln drying process reduces moisture content of the logs to 20% or below. It provides an exceptionally clean burn preventing a build-up of soot in your chimney. It helps maintain a clean stove glass and produces an excellent heat output.
All our Kiln dried logs are cut to 9 inches (22.5 cm) with a tolerance of +/- 10%.

Our quality, British sourced wood is predominantly ash, sycamore, beech and silver birch. Before delivery all logs are passed over a disc screener to ensuring each delivery is as debris free as possible. Please note some loose bark & smaller pieces may be present and unavoidable – this can be up to 5% content.
The volume of logs sold is measured loose, dropped into a trailer. They will take up less space when stacked individually in a store. For reference 1m³ is approximately 0.7m³ in volume when stacked. The larger the volume of logs ordered the better the rate per m³. We hold Woodsure and Ready to Burn accreditation which guarantees our logs meet the required standards.
We deliver within a 15 mile radius of Easingwold (click here to see map). We are unable to deliver beyond this area, without prior arrangement with the office.
