Our quality, locally sourced wood is predominantly ash, sycamore, beech and silver birch – all the timber is seasoned for at least 12 months before being processed into the log store. Before delivery all logs are passed through a rotary screen which removes all the loose bark ensuring each load is dust free and ready for use on your fire.
This sourcing of local timber (Yorkshire & North Lincolnshire) and processing on site means Corners Warmers can pride themselves on supplying quality logs whilst keeping the carbon footprint to a minimum. In turn, this supports the reason customers choose to heat their homes with a sustainable product.
Efficient processing methods and delivery means savings can be passed on to you therefore ensuring they are the best value logs around. The standard length of logs is approximately 8¼” long but we will cut loads to order.
We offer a range of Seasoned and Kiln Dried logs cut to suit the size of your wood burner to warm your home this winter!
These logs are perfect for an easy and efficient burn. Heat your home naturally, cutting your energy costs and reducing your carbon footprint.
Kiln dried logs
Our kiln dried logs are dried in our own kiln on the farm, most other suppliers selling kiln dried logs import theirs as they do not have access to a kiln, making ours even more local! They provide the ultimate clean burn with a high heat output and leave less flue and chimney residue. They are dried within a kiln here on the farm. This is fired by a woodchip boiler which in turn is fueled by the bi–products of our log processing and therefore making the kiln dried logs you buy from us virtually carbon neutral! If you haven’t tried kiln dried logs before you will be amazed by the heat they produce!
Our logs are BSL (Biomass Suppliers List) approved which means they meet the criteria required for the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI). As the renewable heat market grows it is important we make sure biomass is sustainable and meets the Government’s carbon and environmental objectives.
Grown in Britain
